Welcome home!
Well, this is a weird one to write… however Rob, Shayne, Jenson and I are super excited to have moved back to the farm. I haven’t lived in Consett for the past 16 years and the children have never lived here full time, so will be an amazing change for us, not just to be in this amazing area with so many opportunities, but to have our family around us after so many years of travelling to see them on school holidays and special events. However, this will be a completely new change for Rob and his beautiful 3 children (who will be up for holidays), being from Stoke they have a new world to explore up here and a completely new dialect to understand!
Once Haystax is up and running I will be the General Manager, Rob will be the Maintenance Manager and the children are trainee farmers, eager to help in all aspects of the farm. To start with, we will be living in a caravan on the farm until our Lodge arrives at the start of next year… wish us luck!
Shayne, in the middle of the image, was the inspiration for the whole project so it feels right that he is back up north before we open next year.
