Our first step in beginning to develop the site was to plant trees at the start of 2021. The team have been so excited to take these first steps. We have made the commitment to develop a sustainable project which adds to the biodiversity of the area. As part of this, we have pledged to plant more than 10.5K native trees over the next 3 years.
This year, we planted the first 3,500 saplings and hedge plants. It was a huge team effort, and we are so grateful for the help of our army of tree planters. The learners and staff from Learning for Life have done an amazing job and we are so proud of every single one of them. We hope they will keep coming back to see how the saplings they have planted will grow into strong healthy trees.
